Established in 1990, Auto China takes place on an annually-alternating basis with Auto Shanghai. Being held every two years in Beijing, Auto China has developed to one of the most important automotive fairs in the world. Since 2010 Auto China was held at both New and Old China International Exhibition Centers simultaneously.

The automobile manufacturers present themselves at the New China International Exhibition Center located outside the city; the automotive suppliers exhibit at the China International Exhibition Center close to the city center. This part of the exhibition will take place from September 28 to 30, 2020.

Auto China offers to the automotive industry a very important information and networking platform.
